The design showcases repeated stylised floral motifs arranged within bold burgundy diamond shapes, accented with vibrant pink, red, turquoise, green and orange details. Contrasting black side borders frame the colourful traditional pattern.
Relatively lightweight and not too thick, this authentic folk textile has minor repairings and signs of age consistent with its handmade character.

The rug is full of flowers : daffodils, tulips, roses, ears of wheat. The more you look the more you see.The carriage was easy , after all it came a long way. The owner was very helpful and kept me informed.
This rug is very special. Probably 60s it’s wool and made in narrow strips. It’s faded over the years ..but still bright. Anyone who loves colour should consider looking towards Eastern Europe, where you can find something different.
