What we collect

When you browse, order, or contact us, we may collect: your name, email address, phone number, delivery and billing address; order details and purchase history; payment information (processed directly by our payment providers — we do not store your full card details); and technical data such as IP address, browser type, and how you use our site, via cookies.

Why we collect it

  • To fulfil your order — processing payment, arranging delivery, handling returns — necessary to perform our contract with you.
  • To respond to enquiries — when you contact us via email, phone, or the contact form.
  • To send you marketing emails — only if you've subscribed to our newsletter; you can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To meet legal obligations — such as accounting and tax record-keeping.
  • To improve our site and show you relevant ads — using cookies, analytics and advertising tools (see below).

Analytics and advertising

We use analytics and advertising tools from Google, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok. They help us understand how visitors use the site, measure our advertising, and show you relevant ads, including on those platforms after you have visited our store. These tools use cookies, pixels and similar technologies, and run according to the cookie choices you make on our site. They may receive data such as your IP address, device and browser information, and the pages you view. How each provider uses this data is described in its own privacy policy.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only with providers who help us run the store:

  • Shopify — our e-commerce platform, which hosts the store and processes data on our behalf.
  • Stripe and PayPal — our payment processors, who handle payment data directly.
  • Courier partners — DPD and DHL, who need your name, address and phone number to deliver your order.
  • Google, Meta and TikTok — analytics and advertising services, as described above.
  • RevenueHunt — powers our rug-finder quiz, if you choose to use it.
  • Withdrawal form provider — processes the name, email and order details you enter when you withdraw from a purchase.

We never sell your personal data.

International transfers

Some of the providers above (including Shopify, Stripe, PayPal, Google, Meta and TikTok) may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, it's covered by appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, and no longer than 5 years from your last visit to our site or your last interaction with us. Where we have issued an invoice, the related data is kept for 10 years, as required by law.

We use cookies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use our site. Children

Our store is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
