Gorgeous handmade rug from South Romania, amazing colors and excuisite floral design made by hand from wool tinted using traditional methods.
Beautiful poppies and ears of wheat on a black background, accents of green, very beautiful! Made from two parts sewn in the middle, one of the parts was longer, this is why the carpets is wrinkled in the middle.

This rug is very special. Probably 60s it’s wool and made in narrow strips. It’s faded over the years ..but still bright. Anyone who loves colour should consider looking towards Eastern Europe, where you can find something different.
