A medium- large handmade carpet from the Brașov area, traditionally woven on a loom using time-honored techniques. The design features delicate floral patterns set against a refined black and lavender background, creating an elegant contrast. Rich in detail and craftsmanship, this carpet reflects the cultural heritage and artisanal skill of Transylvanian weaving.
Good condition, made from wool with acrylic for details on a cotton base.

This rug is very special. Probably 60s it’s wool and made in narrow strips. It’s faded over the years ..but still bright. Anyone who loves colour should consider looking towards Eastern Europe, where you can find something different.
