Antique rug kilim, made in South Romania, probably more than 100 years ago, a very rare find. Even so old, it is very contemporary as design, matching a modern decor. It was used, so there are signs of the time which were repaired as in the pictures, very beautiful and in average good conditions.

The rug is full of flowers : daffodils, tulips, roses, ears of wheat. The more you look the more you see.The carriage was easy , after all it came a long way. The owner was very helpful and kept me informed.

This rug is very special. Probably 60s it’s wool and made in narrow strips. It’s faded over the years ..but still bright. Anyone who loves colour should consider looking towards Eastern Europe, where you can find something different.
