Large floral carpet with natural wool, a very beatiful design, the background is in blue and black color, with colorful flowers, being tinted using traditional techniques. This handmade area carpet is perfect for a bohemian romantic decor. It is a vintage item but in a very good condition, never been used, ready to be part of your home decor as a rug ( it is not very thick but it can be used as a rug), or tapestry for the wall. Large size.
It is an original handwoven item from colorful North Romania, mid of the XX century, using traditional methods and wool from the local environment. Those handmade rugs are unfortunately very rare now.

The rug is full of flowers : daffodils, tulips, roses, ears of wheat. The more you look the more you see.The carriage was easy , after all it came a long way. The owner was very helpful and kept me informed.
This rug is very special. Probably 60s it’s wool and made in narrow strips. It’s faded over the years ..but still bright. Anyone who loves colour should consider looking towards Eastern Europe, where you can find something different.
