Vintage authentic Romanian rug, handmade in wool. Mustard, yellow, purple and green geometrical design, this carpet is so actual as style! Large size, suitable for a livingroom, this is a statement piece for someone loving antiques and authenticity. Very old and beautiful, in very good shape with only few little marks of the time but and with a bit shaded colors.
This rug is found in South Romania, it was made about 50-60 years ago.

The rug is full of flowers : daffodils, tulips, roses, ears of wheat. The more you look the more you see.The carriage was easy , after all it came a long way. The owner was very helpful and kept me informed.

This rug is very special. Probably 60s it’s wool and made in narrow strips. It’s faded over the years ..but still bright. Anyone who loves colour should consider looking towards Eastern Europe, where you can find something different.
