Hermosa alfombra vintage de Oltenia, procedente de Rumania, con un diseño floral tradicional ricamente detallado. El fondo blanco marfil está decorado con coloridas flores estilizadas y motivos botánicos en tonos rojos, naranjas, azules, verdes, beiges y marrones, enmarcados por bordes salmón y azul oscuro.
En buen estado general, con pequeñas imperfecciones y signos de uso y del paso del tiempo, acordes a su antigüedad. Un lado presenta colores más desvaídos, el otro con colores un poco más brillantes (el que aparece en las fotos).
Un encantador ejemplo del tejido folclórico tradicional rumano, con un auténtico carácter vintage, textura tejida natural y flecos decorativos en los bordes. Perfecta para añadir calidez, color y un toque de arte popular de Europa del Este a un salón, dormitorio, pasillo o interior ecléctico.

The rug is full of flowers : daffodils, tulips, roses, ears of wheat. The more you look the more you see.The carriage was easy , after all it came a long way. The owner was very helpful and kept me informed.
This rug is very special. Probably 60s it’s wool and made in narrow strips. It’s faded over the years ..but still bright. Anyone who loves colour should consider looking towards Eastern Europe, where you can find something different.

Beautiful handmade piece! The wool is incredibly soft and the colors are absolutely stunning, it fits perfectly in our neutral-toned space.
