El campo central está adornado con generosos ramos de rosas rosadas y rojas vibrantes, características del tejido popular moldavo, entretejidas con elementos florales estilizados inspirados en el distintivo vocabulario geométrico-floral de las alfombras oltenianas. El resultado es una fusión particularmente bella de dos importantes tradiciones decorativas rumanas, con flores expresivas y un borde ornamental ricamente estampado.

The rug is full of flowers : daffodils, tulips, roses, ears of wheat. The more you look the more you see.The carriage was easy , after all it came a long way. The owner was very helpful and kept me informed.
This rug is very special. Probably 60s it’s wool and made in narrow strips. It’s faded over the years ..but still bright. Anyone who loves colour should consider looking towards Eastern Europe, where you can find something different.
