Uno splendido tappeto bessarabino tessuto a mano, tradizionalmente realizzato in lana su una base di cotone, risalente approssimativamente agli anni '70-'80.
Dimensioni: 300 × 210 cm (9'10" × 6'11")
Il tappeto presenta un ricco e abbondante disegno floreale, con uno spettacolare bouquet centrale circondato da motivi botanici stilizzati, fogliame a volute e un elaborato bordo ornamentale. La sua audace e vibrante palette di fucsia, bordeaux, rosa, turchese, blu petrolio, verde, crema, arancione e giallo oro crea un sorprendente contrasto con lo sfondo scuro.
I colori sono eccezionalmente vividi e straordinariamente ben conservati, conferendo a questo pezzo un'impressionante presenza decorativa.

The rug is full of flowers : daffodils, tulips, roses, ears of wheat. The more you look the more you see.The carriage was easy , after all it came a long way. The owner was very helpful and kept me informed.
This rug is very special. Probably 60s it’s wool and made in narrow strips. It’s faded over the years ..but still bright. Anyone who loves colour should consider looking towards Eastern Europe, where you can find something different.
