Bellissimo tappeto rumeno vintage in lana, realizzato a mano nella regione dell'Oltenia, caratterizzato da un intricato disegno floreale tradizionale e da una ricca composizione decorativa. Il tappeto presenta fiori stilizzati, foglie, viticci e motivi folcloristici simmetrici, splendidamente disposti su uno sfondo scuro e profondo.
I colori rimangono straordinariamente vivaci e attraenti, con deliziose sfumature di rosa, rosso, verde, viola, crema e blu che creano un sorprendente effetto visivo. Il suo aspetto invecchiato aggiunge calore e carattere, rendendolo un meraviglioso esempio di artigianato tradizionale rumeno e arte tessile popolare.

The rug is full of flowers : daffodils, tulips, roses, ears of wheat. The more you look the more you see.The carriage was easy , after all it came a long way. The owner was very helpful and kept me informed.
This rug is very special. Probably 60s it’s wool and made in narrow strips. It’s faded over the years ..but still bright. Anyone who loves colour should consider looking towards Eastern Europe, where you can find something different.
