Clay vase neolithic style black made with ancient techniques
Tall black vase made by hand with the neolithic design and technique of the Vadastra pottery. Triangles pattern.

The black pottery is a neolithic handicraft from about 7000 years ago, spread in South Romania and North Bulgaria. An artisan from Vadastra, South Romania, brought this amazing handcraftship back to life and he is realising amazing decorative items, all of them by hand, with the ancient techniques.
The vessel are decorated with various motifs such as: single spiral, double spiral, single and double wolf fangs, wolf zigzag fangs, which the master considers a continuity of life on earth. To obtain the specific black color, the vessels are burned by a process called closed or oxidizing combustion.
