Large silk towel made by hand in Romania

Decorative old towel made by hand in the loom using traditional techniques. The marama is a traditional scarf made from raw silk, very fine and delicate. The same procedure was used for towels, only that the fabric is thicker. Exquisite craftsmanship, very beautiful decorative piece.

It is a vintage item from the first half of the last century. Very well conserved, only few little spots
